Spraying time
Spraying time is important for two-component paint users: because the curing of two-component paint is not by evaporation of solvents into a film, but through chemical cross-linking reaction to complete the curing process, the curing process releases heat. The viscosity of mixed paint increases rapidly until it is fully cured.
Mixing Ratio Accuracy
When it comes to proportional accuracy, it will involve mass ratio and volume ratio. Graco’s two-component proportioning system uses volumetric metering methods to ensure proportional accuracy through metering pumps or flow meters; manual mixing usually uses mass ratio metering methods.
Ratio precision is the prerequisite for the optimal performance of material itself. Excessive curing agent will reduce paint curing time, paint film toughness decline brittle, and even cracking or even result in yellow color and other problems. Less curing agent will make the paint hard to cure, or even can not cure.
Incorrect proportional accuracy is seriously prohibited in using two-component paint because it will seriously affect the painting quality, resulting in rework or product scrap.
Color change and cleaning
Small workpiece spraying is always small batch with frequent color change and cleaning. When the electric ratio device detects that the mixed material in the mixing chamber is close to the actual curing time(which can be set manually), the device automatically cleans the chamber.
