Our robotic painting machine is quite flexible configuration to meet with customer various paint spraying requirements. For quick understanding how we can setup the machine, we post the following for new user on how to get started.
Firstly we must know what kind product to paint. For example the physical dimensions and its painting requirement(full painting or partial painting on specific area). Once we leant the actual product and it’s spraying needs, we can then choose a suitable machine(machine size and available motions etc). Once the machine basic model confirmed, we can then customize machine technical properties as following.
Motor – machine motion control is powered by servo motors. By default it’s configured by Panasonic production which is very stable since from the very start. But if you have specific brand requirement, we can also switch to it such as Mitsubishi, Yaskawa or Siemens etc. But we suggest stick to default as it’s widely used and approved on market, it’s always primary choice unless any specific needs.
Moving guide – a crucial component to have each motion moves properly on painting machine. Any misconfiguration will lead to unstable or damage. Our default choice of moving guide is Hiwin or THK production for it’s competitive advantages. We integrated this into our special aluminum guide to program each motion in PLC.
Paint pump – our default choice is pneumatic diaphragm pump. If there’s specific needs from customer side such as 2k paint or other automotive grade paint, it can be custom choice or we leave this option to customer. But we have to confirm which pump finally to be used because we need to configure tube system to connect with.
Spray gun – a very important component. Air based spray gun is regular choice and our default configuration is also air based. But even for air based spray gun there’re different options for example when it’s solvent based paint, regular spray gun can work well. But if it’s water based paint, we have to speical gun for anti rust purpose. Besides, there’re also choice of electrostatic spray gun and airless spray gun options. So everything has to be confirmed in advance.
Furthermore, when you have extremely high requirement of paint flow rate control, we have to add extra components in both hardware and software programming.
After confirmed all technical properties, machine is ready to go. But it doesn’t mean your machine can work nicely only because you have used all world class components. The actual construction involves multi years experience with lots of failure courses. A tiny difference will bring all efforts to disaster. So you must find a reliable provider to work with.
