Neodymium Magnet Painting Solution

After pretreatment cleaning, spray painting can be performed. The coating materials that can be used for magenet painting are epoxy resin, polyester resin, acrylate, etc. These coating materials can form chemical bonds with the surface of NdFeB magenet to improve the coating adhesion, and also improve its corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.

During the magnet painting process, we need pay attention to the paint uniformity and density. The coating should evenly cover the entire surface of NdFeB magnet, and there should be no defects such as pores and cracks inside the coating. At the same time, the thickness of the coating should also be controlled within a certain range to avoid adverse effects on the performance of NdFeB.

After painting done, curing should be followed seamlessly. Curing can be thermal heating or ultraviolet irradiation. Heating curing can improve the hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and stability of the coating, ultraviolet irradiation curing can save energy and time, and will not pollute the environment but its limited to specific paint only.
