Spray paint booth is a basic device for paint shop configuration. Unlike powder coating system where we can re-use the powder after collection, liquid paint is not recyclable for very a long time since the date of developped. Because for the traditional booth design (either water curtain or dry filter) the over sprayed paint is either collected in water or catched on dry filter device which is not usable anymore. From technical calculation, the maximum paint application efficiency is not more than 30%, it’s a big waste. Especially when the paint comes with high costs, the traditional operation is a big waste.
With RPG group, we have been doing various continuing tests and experiment over paint recycling solutions. Recently we have successfully developped a paint recycle booth which provides up to 85% recycling efficiency. Especially for UV clear paint, there’s almost no waste and can be reused after proper filtering. For plastic metallizing industry, we can replace all booths with our patent design to save HUGE on paint investment.

During operation, the recycler device will produce a votex type air folow to guide the paint fog to reycycler and filter. Here the curved air flow will pass through multiple filter devices before going out paint booth. Under centrifugal condition, paint will be isolated and flow into to a drum. Unlike the traditional booth where you can see a heavy paint fume at the discharge window, there’s almost none from this recycling booth.

Q: Is the booth safe to use?
A: Yes it’s 100% safe to use. It’s sealed stainless steel structure, all electric components are configured in proper place.
Q: How do I use the recycler?
A: The recycler is in place to use directly when we start the booth. We don’t have to start the recycler separately.
Q: How can I convert my existing booth recyclable?
A: You have to make a new booth other than applying any modification to existing one. Because the mechanical structures are different.
Q: Do I need to clean up regularly?
A: Yes, the paint booth needs to be cleaned regularly for guaranteed performance. When we need to stop the booth for long time or after used a long period, we need to inspect the filter device and clean up.
Q: Does it work with any type paint?
A: It does work with any type paint, but work the best with resin or transparent paint with no color pigment. Because pigment is solid particles which is useless when recycling.
