Why brake disk painting? What’s the correct workflow and operation for high quality painting? The disk is made of alloy steel and can get rusty easily in atmosphere. In order to extend the life cycle and its physical properties, we need to apply proper coating and do curing in oven.
The complete workflow of brake disk coating is configured as following:
Pre-treatment: loading -> pre-degrease -> degrease -> risin -> risin -> anti-rust treatment -> dry up -> cooling -> unloading
Painting: loading to jig -> painting -> pre-heat -> curing -> cooling -> unloading
Because of the brake disk properties, you can not touch it directly by hand. Instead, you need a hook type holder to pick up and hang up on conveyor. If it’s on automatic coating line, it must be setup for step-forward painting to make sure each piece can be coated properly.
